What is Oy Vey to Joy Vey?

We have created a new project and we need your help. We need lemon to lemonade stories.

We have all had situations which challenged us in some amazing ways. We could have killed ourselves on the spot, but instead, we did something rather incredible and came out, like a shining star, on the other side.

We are not looking for "jokes", but rather, events that one would find funny. Write it as though you were just telling your best friend a story. Please use lots of descriptive words. No limits here. Check out our friend Jonny Katof:

As Jon Katof, soon to add some of his brilliant thoughts to our project, would say, after coming out of a downturn of the flu, "So right now I'm a walkin' talkin' Salami Sandwich... I feel like drek on a draidle... Lox on a Lobster ... and schmutz on a schmendrick".

It's time to tell your story. Bring me down memory lane, trip me up with a great gut busting, slightly risque, full of chutzbah kind of story. Go for it! You don't have to be Jewish to get what we mean.

We are not looking for the big shots. We don't care about your "degrees", you just need to make us laugh. We come from the old school of humor.....good humor. We now have over educated ourselves to the point of no return, and where has it gotten us. Need I say more, but I will. The more educated you are today, the less chance you have a job! As Americans, we just have to keep forcing ourselves to greater and greater heights of anything that takes us from reality. Give me the "dog's life" anyday! Dogs are unconditionally loving, know the basics of pissing and shitting, and know how to get excited about simple things ...like going out!

With the way things are going, we need all the help we can get. Laughter can only improve every situation.
